It's very likely that you have never worn a tiara before, so it can be a bit daunting deciding which style to go for.  I can offer a few words of advice for brides-to-be who are just starting the search for their tiara - I hope this is of some help!

Think about your hairstyle.
Have you decided how you would like your wedding day hair to be styled?  Knowing the look you are trying to achieve with your hair can really help narrow down your choice of headress.  Although many of my tiaras can be worn with both hair up, or down, or half-up, there are some designs that are more suited to a particular hairstyle.  A taller style of

tiara may look more fitting set against a backdrop of hair up, or half-up, whilst a lower style may suit shorter hair better, or hair worn loose.  However, this isn't a rigid rule - it all depends on the look you're trying to create.
The style of your dress It's always best to choose your wedding dress before you start looking for your tiara, as you'll want your tiara to complement your gown, and not fight against your it!  Your dress should give you some clues on the sort of tiara you could look for.  Are there crystals sewn onto your dress?  Is there a floral, star, or some other design of motif? What colour is it? Perhaps your tiara could pick up some of these colours and motifs, or the general style of your dress. For example, a very plain simple dress could look wonderful with a more detailed tiara, whilst a more detailed dress could be paired with a simpler headress.

What's your style?  You want your tiara to reflect who you are, so try to choose something the style of which you feel fits with your everyday style. This isn't easy to do, as a tiara is such a unique accessory.  For example, if you are girly and very feminine, perhaps a delicate design with a floral pattern would suit?  A design with very modern elements, such as square crystals and bold shapes, may be perfect for brides with a more contemporary style.  For brides who really want to create an impact, how about using splashes of colour in your headress, or tall striking designs?
